Supporting and Encouraging New Followers of Jesus

YFC's Follow-up program gives support and guidance to young people who make a decision to follow Christ.  These groups meet in various locations and neighborhoods throughout Kern County.  The ultimate goal of this program is to involve students in local churches.

The Follow-up program features:

• Contact between a new believer and a trained follow-up worker within 72 hours of a student's decision
• An eight week Bible study specially tailored to the needs of a new believer
• A planned effort to integrate young people into local churches with caring Mentors
• Disciplining into a local Church
