Here's a great story from South Central Nebraska YFC.
Campus Life changed my life. I had the opportunity to attend Campus Life when it was offered at our local Middle School. I didn’t realize at the time what a blessing this would be. When I found out that my brother had brain cancer, I had no idea how to deal with the problem. Going to Campus Life helped me have faith and I had trustworthy people to talk to, answer my questions, and share my feelings. I have also learned about the importance of prayer and the difference that this can make in life. When I started attending Campus Life I thought, “Oh all we are going to do it talk about God and the Bible”. But that’s not how it was at ALL! Campus Life was a place where I could go to and share everything and everyone would listen and try to understand. Being involved with Campus Life opened the door for me to be involved with learning about the Lord and God’s Word. I had not really grown up being a part of a church community so I did not understand what a difference it could make in my life. My parents and I are growing together in our faith. We are now attending Church on a regular basis and I am blessed with the opportunity to be involved with an AWESOME Wednesday night youth group! It is my hope and prayer that I will continue to be blessed with these awesome opportunities and that I will be able to have an impact on other people’s lives as well. I am excited to share that Campus Life was a life changing experience for me – this is how God began to work in my life. My hope is that many others will have this same opportunity – not only to learn about the effect God will have on their life, but to be able to have the support and friendships that we are all meant to have.
