Campus Life Campus Life serves middle school and high school youth through on-campus ministries, island-wide events, camps, and the annual YFC Volleyball Tournament. Campus Life trains youth to reach out to their peers through its "3 Story Evangelism" movement. Center for Tomorrow's Leaders www.CenterforTomorrowsLeaders.org The CTL operates Hawaii's premiere leadership training program for select high school juniors and seniors interested in serving the Lord through politics, business and other fields. The Center gives students rare access to influential leaders. Military Youth Ministry YFC Hawaii’s Military Youth Ministry is an outreach-focused, relationally-driven, and chapels-connected program for teenagers belonging to the communities of Hawaii’s armed services. Weekly meetings, known as Club Beyond, offer an array of large-group mixers, music, and discussions that – through Christian role models – introduces them to Jesus Christ in a way that is thoughtful of their challenging and transient military lifestyle.YFC for Parents www.YFCforParents.org YFC for Parents is a ministry for parents of teenagers and includes a 30-minute weekly radio program on KGU 760 and monthly seminars that are designed to equip and strengthen Hawaii's parents to raise their children and help them succeed in the future. Equipping Conferences and Networking YFC conducts training conferences for parents, youth workers, pastors, teachers, and other adults in the areas evangelism, discipleship and understanding the youth culture. These conferences, along with special luncheons and ministry partnerships, support a growing network of youth workers and pastors.
YFC Hawaii carries on the legacy of the worldwide Youth For Christ movement in more than 125 countries and in more than 1,000 cities across the United States. In the tradition of Billy Graham, YFC/USA's first full-time workers, the staff of Youth For Christ Hawaii continue a history which began with Gospel rallies. In October of 1994, Keli'i Akina took the helm of YFC Hawaii and continues today as its president and CEO. YFC Hawaii has grown to include numerous ministry divisions, including the Hawaii chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
