Garfield Heights Campus Life meets weekly

on Monday nights from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at

Mapleleaf Middle School in Garfield Heights.  It

is an opportunity for Garfield students to get

together and enjoy a free evening of competitive

basketball with a chance to win some free

McDonalds money at the end of the night. 

Each student who comes has the opportunity

to play between five to six games each week. 

In the middle of the tournament we take a

break for halftime.  During halftime we have

announcements about upcoming trips and

events and well as break down the rules for the

night.  More importantly during halftime we

bring in guest chaplains from the Cleveland

area to speak with the students each week.

Each speaker is active in the community and

talks about making good decision in life with

the decision of accepting Jesus Christ and their

Lord and personal Savior priority number one. 

After the night is complete, at least two of the

students who were not fortunate enough to win

that night have an opportunity to sit down with

me for a free meal at Wendy's where I have an

opportunity to get to know them better.
