Bill grew up in Oxnard, California and at age 13 came in contact with Roger Cross in Ventura. He felt accepted, attended rallies and helped Roger out during his high school years. In 1980 he married Gretchen and later met Earl Schultz who told them about MCYM. So in 1982 they went to Germany to be World Outreach missionaries to military brats. They stayed 2 years. At Youth Congress ’85 some people from Vermont approached Bill about starting YFC there. They moved to Vermont and were there for 5 years. Then Bill and Gretchen moved to Denver where Bill became the Liaison Director for the Middle East. Later he joined the World Outreach Staff and currently directs that ministry. He shares in this video his strong burden and responsibility to care for YFC’s missionaries.
