Evon tells of a time at Winona Lake when many youth came forward to receive Christ. He and many of the staff were pressed into counseling these young people. He ended up counseling the captain of one of the quiz teams, who had memorized the entire book of Romans. But this fellow had not ever received Christ. He tells also about speaking at a club of 450 kids in California and how he and Ted Engstrom became very close friends. He tells about bringing his administrative assistant , June Thompson, into the national office in 1957. June is still at the national office and has served every president since Ted.
