Just a few months before he passed away from pancreatic cancer at age 73, Irv Polk talked about the amazing journey he had directing the Youth Guidance/Lifeline program at Michiana YFC in Elkhart, Indiana. He tells how he left a job he had for 10 years after graduating from Taylor University and how he met his very supportive wife, Sandy, whom he married in 1965. He had great relationships with many delinquent and troubled kids over the years and saw many of them come to Christ. He says sharing Christ over all those years was his greatest accomplishment, and he looks forward to seeing those believers again in Heaven.
