Jim Galvin tells about his involvement directing Campus Life for three years and leading suicidal “Bob” to Christ. Then he describes how the idea for the Life Application Bible germinated and how after presenting the idea to many different publishers, Tyndale took the risk and offered YFC $100,000 upfront to start the process. Their only condition was, “Make this Bible for everyone, not just teenagers!” That well-known Bible, whose applications were written by YFC staff in the 1980s, has sold over 20 million copies in the U.S. and around 20 million outside the U.S.
