After four years with Kansas City YFC, Leonard and Pauline boarded a ship bound for Lebanon. They were greeted at the port with a welcoming committee of 8 pastors from different denominations. They were excited about what God was going to do through the Rodgers. One of the first young people they met was John Sagherian, the son of an Armenian pastor, who had been to the first World Congress in Beatenburg, Switzerland. He was a bright young man with whom they worked for 11 years and then turned over YFC to him. Leonard says that John and his American wife, Nancy, did a much better job leading the ministry there. Len tells about leading Teen Teams to both Afghanistan and Jordan where they were welcomed heartily and allowed to perform and preach in all the universities of Afghanistan.
