Dan Wolgemuth tells how he joined the National Board of YFC/USA in 1995 and learned a great deal about the inner workings of YFC. He was tasked in 2004 to write a job profile for the new president after Roger Cross resigned. He told Mary that no one could do that job, but two weeks later he was asked by the board if he would allow himself to be one of the candidates.  He gave the Lord good reasons why he shouldn’t take the job, but he also told Him that if the board asked, he would accept the Presidency. So in April, 2005 he stepped into that role.
