“Pray it Through” - Preparing for YFCamp NorthBay High School
Hello again friends! Week #2 of YFCamp begins on July 17th in Maryland, where 400 campers and leaders will join us for another amazing week! If week #1 of camp is any indication, there will surely be all sorts of amazing “God Sightings” in camp again. Let’s stand together in prayer, asking God to show us His Power. It’s clear that the spiritual battle is REAL, so please keep praying! Here are a few specific ways you can pray right now:
Please pray with us:
Pray for our camp speaker and my husband Dave Ramseyer. Pray that Dave would be moved by the Holy Spirit in both his preparation and delivery. Pray that God’s joy would radiate from his soul.
Pray for our program team – Adam, Cory, Sara. Pray that they would be full of energy and JOY and that they would show kids how exciting a relationship with Jesus can be.
Pray for our YFC staff who are still working on getting kids signed up for camp. It is endless work to pursue students and our staff are working so hard! Thank God for their tireless work and pray that they would have the energy and passion to pursue kids until the last possible minute!
Pray for our Lead Support Team – that the Spirit would bind our hearts together in a way that campers would notice our love for one another. Specifically be in prayer for one of our YFCamp Interns, Marjorie Miller who has been diagnosed recently with a minor heart deficiency. This defect is often brought on my stress/anxiety – so please pray for her to rest mentally in God’s great care for her and pray that she could rejoin our team soon.

Posted on August 13, 2012 - 3:49:14Krista mcgee was so beatiful i loved her to death she would awalys make up some funny jokes im going to miss her so much i loved her smile everyday she would come running to me and hug me with her smile she had a lot of friends that care about her she was a lucky girl im going to miss her for many more but the most is her smile like awalys her jokes . Everytime i would go to my 3period i go to class so lonely before she went home she would awalys waslk me to class only half way of course but now im more happier that she is happy in heaven and safe r.i.p baby girl i well miss u i well see u later when my day comes!!!
