“I don’t know where I’ll be living next year.”

“I don’t know where I’ll be living next year.”

“I don’t really know where I’ll be living this time next year. I wish I did, but I don’t.”

Kids whose parents are in the military are often moved to new houses, new high schools, new states, new countries, even, without any say in the matter.

The uncertainty of military life makes planning a challenge. You must plan. But you must also hold those plans loosely.

Better yet, you must remember who actually holds those plans.

As we work with kids whose lives are riddled with change, we get to point them to the One whose character and name is unwavering.

When everything is shifting, it becomes impossible to hope in the unpredictable circumstances, which makes it that much more essential that we share with these kids the steadfast hope that is found in Jesus.

Campus Life Military engages kids at volleyball games, football games, the library, in JROTC – wherever they are – and meets them with the unchanging news that Jesus Christ is for them and with them, wherever they may go.
