Larry worked at Ft. Wayne YFC from 1972-80 and was then contacted by Earl Schultz asking him to consider moving to Germany to head up the new Military Community Youth Ministry, which was geared to reach “military brats.” After 10 years in Germany with his wife, Pat, he was asked again by Earl Schultz to consider heading up the World Outreach Department for YFC/USA. Just at the time in 1990 that YFC moved its headquarters from Wheaton to Denver, Larry began directing World Outreach. He tells of the hard times YFC had financially after they purchased a new building in Denver. He shares how much Earl Schultz meant to him and how he sat with Earl a couple of days before he passed away from his bout with cancer.
