Lynn heard the Gospel for the first time in 1970 at a YFC Breakaway in San Diego, and a month later she prayed to receive Christ in a Campus Life Club. She volunteered for YFC for four years, then moved to the San Fernando Valley for 13 years. She was Training Director and then Executive Director and ran Campus Life Clubs. In 1991 she moved to Denver to be the National Training Director for 12 years. In 1998 she became the first female Vice President of YFC. What was a door-opening opportunity for Lynn gave other women now hope and new opportunities for their ministry in YFC. Lynn tells about a real soul-searching situation in her Campus Life ministry in 1983. Her favorite pastime as Training Director was to lead Summer Institute. It gave her the opportunity to help staff realize that their ministry is to flow out of one of YFC’s great values, “abiding in Christ.”
