“What the *%&^ is wrong with you? You take and take but never give, you’re a *^#@!% joke”

You’ve been investing in a key Core student and are excited to see them finally getting traction with engaging their friends in several of the RMA’s, and then you see that facebook update.
Yep, the classic passive aggressive post not directed to anyone specific, but clearly pointing to that “needy” friend they just fought with at school.
I’m going to guess at some point you’ve been disappointed in the behavior of a Core student.

Consistent attendance? Not since he found a girlfriend.

Yet another selfie with the tight shirt pulled way low, the day after you encouraged her towards modesty.

And the list could go on and on, and the question sneaks in the back of our mind. “Are they going to get it? Is all this investment worth it?”

I’ve found Galatians 6:9 to be an anchor in frustrating times of discouragement.

6:9  Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Not a blank check of guaranteed success, but encouragement to stay faithful. We may not see the fruit this semester, but we can commit our work to God and pray for His protection over these seeds of the Gospel!
