Bethany Carter works for YFC Military in Belgium. She shares the following:

A year ago, a 13 year-old student stood in front of the congregation to lead them in a time of prayer. We will call her Molly. Molly began a relationship with the Lord 2 years prior during a Middle School Adventure Camp, and since then had taken complete ownership of her faith. On this day, the congregation were absolutely astounded by her testimony as to the power of prayer:

"I went to Italy this summer with CYS (child and youth services) to Italy. The first night I was there, my friend said to me, 'Hey! Do you want to pray and read the Bible?' So we did! We spent an hour praying, about 30 minutes reading the Bible, and then another 30 minutes praying. My friend has been very on the fence with her faith, but this made a change. We liked it so much that we did it every night we were there! It made such a difference! We were happier, we never fought, and people wanted to hang out with us because they could tell there was something different! Prayer works! You should pray more often!"

Molly moved back to the states with her mom 2 weeks after giving this testimony as a result of her parent's divorce. Because of Molly's incredible personal transformation, and instances like the one described above, several of the friends she had been praying for slowly began to attend club. And the friend who was on the fence with her faith? She now is completely on fire for the Lord.
